Flagship Workshop
Breakout Recognition Workshop
A two-day, in-person programme for traders who want a disciplined framework for identifying genuine breaks — and for knowing when to leave a level alone.
Who this is for
You already trade or invest using daily charts, keep a written or digital journal, and can identify basic support and resistance. You do not need coding skills or a specific broker — we work from printed charts and TradingView layouts participants bring on laptops.
This workshop is not an introduction to candlesticks. If you are still learning what a doji represents, start with our reading list on the blog and consider the False-Breakout Masterclass once you are comfortable marking levels independently.
What you will leave with
- A three-criteria checklist for confirming breakouts on daily timeframes
- Annotated examples from indices, FX majors, and large-cap UK equities
- A retest-entry flowchart covering limit versus stop entries after the break
- A printed workbook with thirty historical breakout case studies
- Thirty days of email chart review — one submission per week
Two-day schedule
Day one morning — Range anatomy
Define consolidation versus drift. Mark boundaries on five live charts together. Discuss why some ranges tighten before a break while others expand without resolving.
Day one afternoon — Confirmation rules
Closing price thresholds, volume relative to the twenty-day average, and gap behaviour. Participants apply rules to a blind set of ten charts before answers are revealed.
Day two morning — Retest entries
When to buy the retest, when to use a stop above the break, and when the retest itself is the warning sign of a false break. Role-play entries with defined risk per trade.
Day two afternoon — Journal integration
Each participant presents one setup from their own history. The group applies the workshop checklist and records what would have changed. We finish with a personal action plan for the next thirty trading days.
What is not included
Lunch is provided on both days. Accommodation, travel to Little Walden, live brokerage accounts, and ongoing mentorship beyond the thirty-day email window are not part of the fee. We do not provide trading signals or manage capital.
